I’ve been working on restocking my Things Bright: Vintage shop on Etsy in the last couple days. I wanted to show you some really great looms I found this summer. There’s a hairpin lace loom, 2 gorgeous 12 inch round wooden knitting looms, and a flower loom.
I’m hoping to find more – they look so great and feel so nice in the hand compared to plastic, you know?
I kept thinking last night how great their round shape with pegs would look on a wall as a necklace organizer. I think I might keep the next one I find for just such a purpose – what a practical and beautiful way to use a tool in between it’s originally intended work, don’t you think?
And that flower loom – so cute!
It’s the first vintage wooden one I’ve seen. I searched around a bit online and they’re not commonly found here either.
I also put up some wee vintage embroidery looms, of the 3-6 inch variety…
…and then, I got a little creative/silly, depending on your point of view.
Has anyone started working on their Christmas projects yet?
