Hello! This past Monday the boys had the day off for Presidents’ Day so we went sledding at this great hill down the road at the local high school.
We discovered a super fun mogul built & left by others. (Don’t you love that sort of stranger kindness?!)
It was all fun & games, as they say….
I was happily snapping photos of the boys & their friend & put this up on Instagram right before my turn.
WARNING: x-ray shot coming if you’re extra sensitive.
Well, I caught a lot of air off the little mogul…and then my little thumb caught a lot of ground. Ouch!
Four hours, at least a dozen various medical professionals, and 1 piece of bright wall art to stare at while getting the 4 local shots to numb the thumb & my thumb was popped back into place.
Amazing how the body can do that!
The boys have tried their hand at the splint & pretend they’re injured pirates.
When I asked Jordan to pose he gave me sadface, which cracked me up. This is pretty much what I look like, but not as cute.
To end on a good note, the raffle crazy quilt is coming along! I’d love to show you the other ladies, but one of my new friends didn’t realize I’m snapping photos constantly, so I had to promise not to post her photo “all over the Internet”. We bloggers can be a weird breed. ;)
Speaking of weird, can you guess what my first thought was when the physicians assistant gave me this tape? ;)
P.S. this post was typed 1 handed, so forgive any formatting/spelling errors, all the &’s, & know that the rest of this week will be more of a photo journal. ;)

Oh! You poor dear! I hope that you heal soon. Those sledding pictures looked amazingly fun, though!
