///Hello! If you’re new, Into the Woods is a weekly post on Fridays reminding us to get off the screens for the weekend and get out into nature. Enjoy!///

I am absolutely loving aerial shots lately, especially of summer beach fun!

The bird’s eye view allows us to see the whole communal aspect of enjoying nature, which pleases me to no end.

I’m constantly delighted by the fact that in an overly-individualized world full of screens and wires, we as a people, and as adults no less, still flock to simple pleasures like beautiful bits of nature and city fireworks.

Even though we may come by ourselves or in our own family pods to “get away”, the view from above shows us once again how much we all need the same things.

Whether you are getting away from it all, or going with a group, may you enjoy each other and the beauty around us this weekend!

p.s. I know New Mexican sands are not the beach, but the tumbling joy in that vintage Nat Geo shot perfectly captures the helter-skelter fun of running down the dunes here in Michigan.

Thank you so much, Erin! I am thinking stuff like that all the time and wondering if it would be good to share or not, so I really appreciate your compliment and encouragement. :)
