For Sandy Relief

Hello, friends!

Like many of you, I have been watching the Hurricane Sandy coverage with great concern.

I put this sentiment on Twitter and Facebook this morning after reading this CNN article on how it might affect the presidential race. My friend Holly Bechiri liked it enough to make this photo for it.

Share the love, my friends.

Care, compassion, and help win over negativity and slandering any day, but particularly this week. It’s sad that it takes emergencies to remember that our neighbors are probably not “baby killers” or “democracy-hating socialists” but there it is.

Also, if you feel strongly enough to share this photo yourself, please feel strongly enough to donate to one of the fine organizations listed here – How to Help After the Superstorm.

Stay safe and take care of each other.
