Hello! I had such a lovely weekend with my family!
There was a lot of relaxing out at my mom’s by the fire.
Some sleeping in and late cuddling on the couch by the little ones.
Good times and shenanigans with my brother Eric, in town from Colorado. (The one we got to be “the man” in the hat/scarf video.)
Family photos and excessive wearing of the family tartan. Those are my “little” brothers, Andrew and then Eric again.
And then Sunday night my thoughts turned back to craft.
While working on another project, I came upon this pineapple motif.
I did that thing I told you about where I make little things just because in the midst of larger endeavours. We don’t decorate a lot with pineapples around here, and I don’t know anyone who’s into them, so this becomes another little bit and bob, waiting to be something.
And I also worked up a Things Bright Tunisian Crochet Christmas Stocking. All caps makes it sound official, though this pattern’s sort of a mess. If I can work it out better, I’ll put it up for you.
A Merry & Bright will be up later today.
I am surely having a case of the MondayMornings after such a weekend….
…I hope your week is starting off well!

I love your wee stocking! It’s so cute!
I also am a fan of matching family plaids.
Chantal,
Thanks – the back’s a bit wonky. Always glad to meet another plaid fan. ;)
