Something bright for Tuesday!

(Okay, we do that everyday here, but play along….) Two gorgeous bags from Baileyella on Flickr.  Very different in feel from yesterday’s bargello afghan

TUNISIAN BAG WITH CROCHET FLOWERS

…but just as inspiring for seeing the possibilities that tunisian crochet offers in playing with colors.   Whether graphed & ordered like the bargello or more playful and mixed like these bags here.

Have a great day!  Come back this afternoon to see some Tunisian crochet stitch swatches I worked up!

Wow, these are amazing! The colorwork really seems to take the “heaviness” out of the fabric. She has some pretty things in her Flickr set. Thanks for this!

Diane, yes, about the “heaviness”, I agree. I really like how the bobbles add even more texture and fun.

Bobbi, they are in the Tunisian simple stitch plus the bobbles. You could totally make one! :)
