Bright Things: Sparkly Paddle Boats. Yes, truly.

Hello, friends!

How are you? How are the seasons transitioning for you? It’s our last week of summer vacation here. I took the boys paddle boating for the first time a couple days ago. On the sparkliest paddle boats I’ve ever seen in my life.

And the curtains are coming along slowly but surely. Can you see the spot I missed? :)

They are very much not perfect, but I don’t care. They have a great graphic punch and though a l o n g to make, very satisfying. On one hand they are taking way too much time to finish, but on the other, they are keeping me consistently focused on getting one project accomplished. And if you’ve been around Things Bright for any time at all. you know what a trick that is. This focus and desire to Just Finish The Thing is bleeding into other household projects, so that’s good.

I can’t wait to show them to you!
